Once booked final details of the shoot are communicated. What to bring. How to prepare. What to expect. Ideas for hair and makeup are exchanged. All to make sure you get the most out of your shoot.

Arrive the day of the shoot at our scheduled time and get ready for fun. No 'Smile and say cheese' smiles here. Only real smiles. I will make you laugh and feel comfortable to make sure the real you comes out in camera.

SELECTION

A quick initial review of the images will occur in studio on the laptop before you even leave your session. I will flag any must have shots that really stand out to you. The rest? Leave it up to a the professional.

LESS IS MORE

Depending on packaged purchased only 15-30 images will be presented to you for final selection. This greatly simplifies the selection process and prevents you from having to choose from 5 images that are nearly identical. Nearly every image I take is like-able. I will only give you the images that WOW you.

MY STUDIO

My studio allows me capture beautiful images all year round, anytime of day. Located in the quite Alexandria neighborhood of Del Ray you'll find a classic small town main street feel that is still alive and well. I am in a commercial space above the Bon Vivant Cafe, not a garage or spare bedroom studio. My cozy studio offers a warm and inviting space where you can feel comfortable and relaxed to be you.
